Collection: WALL ART

Introducing a new body of work, wall-based textile works.

Most are made from completely homespun yarn, spun in Te Māhia. Some have homespun wool dyed with the whenua: pōhutukawa, kawakawa, harakeke and wharariki. Others bring in cotton and linen. Exploring motif, material, and how these works live within a space.

A space I’ve been wanting to move into for a while, shaped by the spinners and weavers I’ve been learning from in Māhia.
