Kiwi Knit Poncho

Our first poncho.

Hand knitted in Aotearoa using brown Corriedale fleece, in a traditional ‘kiwi knit’ technique.

This method is closely associated with Te Wairoa, where it has long been used to create durable knitwear for farmers.

One size.

Care instructions: When you are not wearing your knit, please fold it. Hanging it may alter its shape. We recommend washing your knit only when absolutely necessary. Please wash it by hand and in cold water to avoid shrinking. Squeeze water out, do not wring.
When drying, lie flat on a towel, preferably out of the sun.
